Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Grant Manager to assist in performing emergency management and program services of disaster relief grants for its disaster recovery practice. As a Grant Manager, you will be offered the opportunity to gain hands on experience working in the field of disaster recovery, compliance, and accounting.
Working with state agencies, local municipalities, and private non-profits to provide disaster recovery services
Reviewing and processing payment requests while ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal and State requirements for Federal grants
Performing review, reconciliation and accounting procedures in accordance with established standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner
Communicating progress of projects, problems, and resolutions to team leads and project managers
Identifying policy or program related compliance issues
Making recommendations for and coordinating resolutions and improvements
Communicating and interacting with local officials on a daily basis
Providing administrative and clerical support of project-related activities
Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Accounting, Business, Construction Management or related field
3 or more years of experience with CDBG, Hazard Mitigation and FEMA grants
Ability to learn, interpret and apply policy to specific circumstances
Working knowledge of federal grant programs, specifically FEMA grant programs, including related statutes, regulations, policies and processes. A combination of industry experience and degree may be substituted.
Must be organized and be able to handle multiple tasks
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Microsoft SharePoint
Strong critical thinking abilities
