As the Director of Sales for our SecurityIQ team, you’ll be leading our new business team of our Enterprise Account Executives to grow our market share globally. You’re a take-charge, entrepreneurial type of person who has proven success building a high performance sales team. You have experience defining, measuring, and effectively holding your team accountable to goals and quotas. If asked, your previous teams would give you high praise for removing obstacles to success and being a loyal listener who balances accountability and positive reinforcement.
You are an optimistic problem solver that gets s**t done and fully understands and appreciates the value of team building and communication. You are excited about representing a product and company that is loved by its customers, secures them from ever-evolving information security threats, and is on the cutting edge of technology.
Manage the SaaS sales team
Develop and execute growth plan
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Coach and mentor the team to improve the sales processes and services.
Provide management and focus to drive results, set expectations, and manage performance.
Provide support for the sales team as they work with new leads and close deals.
Monitor sales activity and evaluate against goals to measure growth, opportunity and productivity.
Develop and implement new sales training materials.
Hire, train, motivate and hold accountable all sales positions and support them in achieving and exceeding their targets.
Ensure customer alignment with our product offering
Treat all leads as the gold they are - efficiently capitalize on all opportunities
Collaborate with marketing and customer success departments to create a unified message and customer experience
Ensure correct usage of our CRM, salesforce.com
Use available data and metrics to make informed decisions and uncover potential missed opportunities
Develop incentive plans and spiffs to foster a competitive, fun and collaborative team environment
Travel for in-person meetings with potential customers and develop key relationships
Document all processes, iterate and improve on them as necessary
Other duties as required.
2+ years sales experience in a B2B, intangible solution role
At least 4 years of proven success at a management level
Experience in managing a sales team in a fast paced, high activity/volume outbound selling environment
Knowledge of how to use metrics and data as a way to support effective sales behavior
Passion for delivering value to the customer, maximizing their success
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
