A-List Casting, a division of A-List Models and Talent located in Raleigh, NC, is expanding and being developed into it's own entity and we are looking for someone who has previous sales and casting experience to join our team. We are a faith-based, International model and talent agency and we are seeking an assistant Casting Director. Come join us and be responsible for recruiting and casting talent for upcoming movies, television, commercials, photo shoots, runway, live events, etc.

We are looking for someone who is career oriented, has an entrepreneurial mind-set, works well independently and as a team, and wants to grow with us as a company. The right candidate must be able to do lead generation for talent and client acquisition and have a strong sales, public relations, or casting background.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Scheduling appointments and interviewing potential talent
  • Scheduling and implementing promotional events
  • Reach out to filmmakers and casting directors
  • Casting tv/film
  • Processing Talent for work ie. putting names and info in database
  • Creative Planning Strategy and Implementation
  • Lead generation
  • Public Speaking
  • Marketing and Public Relations
  • Branding and Social Media
  • Light office duties

Qualifications and Skills

  • Sales and marketing experience with excellent closing skills and proven results
  • Experience with marketing, advertising, branding and social media required
  • Broadly connected in the fashion and entertainment industry
  • Invoicing and light bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of IMDB pro
  • Casting and booking tv/film or agency work
  • Team management experience
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including daytime, evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Independent worker with strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and a personal laptop computer required
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
  • Travel as needed locally and out of state

This is a full-time, commission plus bonus position.(no base, draw or salary to start)

There is excellent income potential and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition to a base salary plus commission and benefits after six (6) months of meeting the position goals.
