World Wide Technology Advanced solutions, LLC has an opportunity available for a Network Engineer to provide onsite Technology Support for the operations and maintenance of Dell products that are deployed by a customer located at Kandahar Airfield. Be prepared to deploy to the OCONUS location late August 2018. Deployment is for a minimum of one year.
Serve as the single point of contact to assist with support engagement, customer escalations and service delivery.
Support incident ownership and customer account management including resource coordination, dispute and technical account management resolution and communications at various levels during service engagements from tactical to strategic.
Maintain the "Parts Locker" that was purchased from Dell as part of the project baseline.
Manage the configuration of routing/switching, Infiniband and documentation of the equipment OCONUS in the Mobile Data Center (MDC), Sidecar and the Office Space located on the second floor of the office at KAF.
Troubleshoot and diagnose network and hardware issues. Provide system support to ensure consistent availability in support of operational requirements.
Provide onsite support during normal working hours. Be prepared to adjust working hours to support mission needs. For instance, if required split the workday to meet operational commitments for day and/or night operations.
Networking Skills: Routing/switching, Infiniband, Cable management, Documentation
Server Maintenance Skills: Linux intermediate/advanced level, Hardware diagnosis and troubleshooting, Nvidia GPU experience, HPC/ML Backround
General Skills: Dell certified warranty/support, Change and configuration management
CompTIA Security + Certification (or equivalent)
