The Events & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an employee experience that powers our mission.
Based in Greenwood Village, CO, the Events & Communications Coordinator for the Product & Strategy organization will support our mission by performing day to day events and communications activities, and acting as the main point of contact for the employee Coffee Café. With a spirit of hospitality and inclusiveness, the Events & Communications Coordinator represents the company at the highest level during frequent contact with business organization leaders and employees, and completes numerous special projects as requested.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the employee experience.
The Event Coordination aspect of the position performs comprehensive and proactive event planning and coordination functions, including researching and communicating with vendors and Facilities, managing flow of information to attendees, ordering equipment, determining staffing, selecting catering and location, overseeing set up and tear down and providing real time event support.
Additional responsibility of this position is to oversee the smooth operation of the employee Coffee Café: engage and train employees, refill/restock supplies (milk, coffee beans, tea, kombucha and cold brew kegs, cups, Nespresso pods, etc.), monitor equipment and report maintenance issues (e.g. Eversys Espresso machine, Pour over station, Nespresso, etc.), liaison with Facilities team and answer frequently asked questions.
Completes various employee experience projects that include information gathering and research, item ordering and tracking, employee communications, item assembly and delivery.
Manages expense reports including tracking receipts, data entry and scanning.
Assists in writing, editing and file management for Product & Strategy online newsletter (STANDUP).
Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

Related Work Experience
1+ year event planning experience
1+ year communications or copy writing experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Post High School training in Human Resources or Commutations or related field or equivalent work experience
AA/AS/BA/BS degree in Human Resources or Communications related field preferred
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of cable television/Telecommunications products and services
Knowledge of organization policies and practices
Knowledge of Human Resources
Knowledge of Coffee brewing and culture
Knowledge of Google Docs (e.g. Google Docs, Sheets, Forms and Slides)
Knowledge of food service regulations and safety procedures
1+ year Administrative/Support experience
1+ year Barista experience
1+ year Hospitality experience
