Top salary for Office manager-must be experienced in prelitigation personal injury
We are looking for a full-time office manager for our 15 employee personal injury practice. Responsibilities will include hiring of employees, maintaining the serenity of the practice, making sure the employees are productive, kept busy, and performing adequately.
This position will also involve you and having to speak with clients. You should also have experience writing settlement demand package is, preparing closing statements, negotiating bills and liens. Position will entail supervising about a half-dozen employees.
This is an ideal position for somebody who is working in the pre-litigation department of a personal injury law firm who wants to make more money, and who wants to move up the employment ladder.
This is NOT a litigation or paralegal position.

For full-time employees: We offer health insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield, which is not an HMO), and we also offer a dental plan. We pay 62.5% of the health insurance for the employee, or 62.5 % for the family. We have unbelievable 401k plan that matches your contribution almost dollar for dollar up to about 5% of your salary, which you would be eligible for after one year. We pay and give time off for 8 holidays per year. We offer paid vacation and give 3 sick/personal days per year.
There is a 90 day probationary period for which no benefits will be given or paid.
Paid vacation accrues usually accrues as follows (but see below).
2 weeks accrues during during first year through six years
3 weeks accrue starting in sixth year
4 weeks accrue starting in 11th year
5 weeks accrue after 20 full years.
We give 3 days sick or personal paid which begins to accrue after 90 days. Vacation and sick and personal leave that is unused is not lost, it accrues.
If a person requires more time off than accrued, the time off may be given, though unpaid.
We give a year end monetary bonus, usually 1 week salary after one full year, two week's salary after two years for excellent performance. Thankfully, we have not been affected by the economy, and are less subject to economic changes and fluctuations than most businesses.
