DiLeonardo is seeking a Revit/AutoCAD technician to join the design team at our headquarters in Warwick, RI. We are looking for someone who loves to be inside the drawings/model and can share their knowledge and passion for AutoCAD/Revit with the team. This position serves as support to the Project coordinator who is the primary source for computer- aided design. Reports to Project Manager.

Duties and functions

Ability to work in dynamic environment and adapt to project changes

Ability to follow instructions and create or modify drawings using company drafting standards

Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting

Coordinate filing, storage and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings

Operate associated printers

Perform drawing and technology research

Coordinate with designers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Education and Experience

Post-secondary and/or technical school education is highly desirable

Must have working knowledge of CAD standards, Revit Standard, PC application software and drafting practices and methods. Knowledge of Adobe, current version of Auto CAD and Revit and Excel is required.

Language skills

Communicate effectively in both oral and written communications. Communicates with supervisors, peers and other staff working as part of a team contributing to project success

Reasoning ability

Must be able to work with either verbal direction and/or from sketches and surveys to produce and acceptable work product with minimal supervision. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and make conclusions drawing upon experience, research and input from pers. The position may perform multiple job tasks daily. Directs complex problems encountered to the Project Manager for input and/or direction

Work Environment

Employee regularly works in an open studio environment with low to moderate noise.
