Solidus is looking for a Lead Software Engineering/Architect who is looking to lead a team of developers to assess existing legacy software and advise on the technical direction to the product team. Bring legacy applications into a 12 factor application software architecture and create a Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud based system. Decompose legacy applications into a micro service architecture, maintain and improve performance of existing code and perform net-new development. Lead the team from discovery and framework through iterative development and delivery using Agile and continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.

Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent
  • 8 years in full stack development with Java, Web services, Database, and web application development
  • Experience with agile and lean philosophies
  • Proven experience building applications using a 12 factor application SW architecture, micro services, and API
  • Experience writing and building cloud native applications
  • Experience designing full-service consumer and business applications
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration techniques delivering SW to the cloud
  • Experience in test-driven development and automated testing practices
  • Hands-on experience in developing, implementing and leading software programs
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to write test scripts, test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
