Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble metal structures according to specifications and codes standards
- Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Operate forklifts and rigging equipment as needed for material handling
- Perform pipe threading and fitting tasks as required
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding/fabrication or related field
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Flux Cord, and Stick welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking principles
- Familiarity with fitting processes is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience operating forklifts and loading equipment is preferred
