Firm Description
Tereo Group LLP is an outsourced accounting services provider for non-profit organizations. We are fully remote and offer flexible work hours. Our clients range from schools to churches to mission organizations and other social service agencies.
Position Description
The staff accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for our clients. This includes accounts payable, journal entries, payroll processing, month-end close, year-end audit and review preparation, and other job-related duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2-5 years experience in non-profit field
- Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Non-Profit & Governmental Accounting
Standards
- Microsoft Office- Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Fluency
- Internet Resource Ease and Facility
- Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
- Must be extremely detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
- Collaborate easily with co-workers and work well independently
- To be honest, discreet and trustworthy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
