The primary focus of the Marketing Communications Manager is to execute an internal and external communications program for Satellite Healthcare. We are looking for a strong communicator to provide a unified and consistent approach to employee communications and engagement across the organization and to amplify those messages externally as appropriate.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications & Marketing, the Marketing Communications Manager, in conjunction with contacts in HR, Education and Medical Clinical determines appropriate go-forward strategies based on a deep understanding of our employee audience, initiatives and strategic aspirations. Key aspects of this role include, creating and disseminating ongoing communications using multiple communications channels to reach internal and external audiences and bring the Satellite Healthcare mission and brand to life.

Essential Functions

Support internal and external communications needs for Satellite Healthcare’s HR, Education and Medical Clinical departments.
Develop a marketing communications strategy for HR, Education and Medical Clinical.
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums, and perform content management including planning, editing and writing content as well as preparing layouts.
Lead the curation of content for Town Hall meetings, various communications vehicles and social media channels.
Coordinate internal communications response to crisis situations, which affect the organization, our patients and physicians.
Create communication campaigns for internal events and activities the reach the employee audience and maximize participation; track, measure, and report results of all campaigns.
Work collaboratively with various functions across the organization including HR, Education and Medical Clinical, and Corporate Communications & Marketing to create a culture of recognition, engagement and empowerment.
Serve as a company subject-matter on internal communications and patient education.
Promote internal messages and programs through public relations and social media.
Responsible for achieving annual goals around internal, patient education and medical clinical communications.
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
Take initiative to deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers. Respond, resolve and follow up in a timely manner when issues arise.
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; major in Communications, Marketing or Business preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Four (4) years of marketing, communications or public relations experience.
Healthcare, pharmaceutical or health plan marketing experience is preferred. Dialysis experienced a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be well-organized.
Able to work independently and collaboratively supporting the Human Resources, Patient Education and Medical Clinical departments.
Experience in developing employee communications strategies and supporting materials.
Highly motivated and detail oriented.
Excellent judgement and strong leadership presence.
Sharp eye for detail and proven project management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with social media.
Knowledge of social media strategies and analytics.
Able to communicate complex topics to a wide audience.
Ability to handle multiple and shifting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requires a collaborative work style and a positive, proactive customer service approach.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and interface with senior staff.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and In-design (or similar software packages).
Experience with database concepts, search engines, and standard information databases required.
Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends to support events.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Should be energetic, likes to have fun, mission-driven and has a strong aptitude for strategic marketing communications.
