Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an F-35 Aircraft Contract Field Team (CFT) Manager to supervise and manage the Northrop Grumman F-35 Hole Primer Remediation (HPR) contract at MCAS Beaufort.
The selected candidate will supervise personnel & technical operations for a team of over 20 professionals FRC-E. Optimizes Northrop Grumman program effectiveness by leading and managing personnel for the F-35 Hole Primer Remediation (HPR) contract. In this position, you will assign tasks across multiple aircraft at varying stages of completion; ensure hole primer remediation process excellence is a top priority. You will be responsible for driving timeline adherence while ensuring timely and correct billing; and delivering reports to U.S. government and private sector customers. You will drive program compliance, managing daily cost and man hour reports. The position requires an effective leader with excellent judgment and strong management and coordination skills to ensure compliance with program safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with host unit and program partners are keys to successful performance in this position.
Must have either a High School diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience; or, an Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance; or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading a team
Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or have held a DoD Secret clearance within the last 2 years
Must have a minimum of 3 years F-35 Low Observable and Structures experience with current knowledge of HPR program
Must have F-35 Modification knowledge
Must be able to successfully complete and pass government required F-35 trainings (Advanced Technical Training and/or Cadre Course) for continued employment
Must be willing to provide temporary support to our other CFT locations
Fighter aircraft MRO&U experience.
DoD aircraft MRO&U experience.
F-35, F-22, B-2, or other low observable (LO) program experience.
Proficient implementing Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD).
Proficient interpreting modification engineering drawings and manufacturing/material process specifications.
