Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy in the Concord area is in search for a dedicated receptionist to join our preschool family! Kids 'R' Kids Concord, located just 5 mins. off interstate 85 and highway 29, is a locally owned and operated NC 5 Star licensed preschool. We are a preschool of academic excellence and pride ourselves to be the best of the best. We utilize a standards driven, year-round curriculum that is designed and updated quarterly by professional child care educators exclusively for Kids 'R' Kids. Academic objectives are cross-referenced to reflect National and North Carolina standards.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
*
Completes the Administrative tasks including but not limited to administrative checklists, tuition collection, inquiries, enrollments, compliance with childcare, health and sanitation regulations.

Ensures efficient management of telephone calls and is able to turn 80% of inquiry calls to tours.

*
Maintains children files

*
Assists and/or creates calendars, newsletters, memos and social media as assigned

*
Completes additional miscellaneous duties as assigned.

*
Provides a positive and nurturing environment for the children

*
Provides consistent and constant supervision of children

*
Complies with all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children

*
Uses positive statements, is a positive role model for children

*
Interacts with parents in a pleasant and professional manner

*
Attends all required staff meetings, trainings, and/or school functions as determined by the Director

*
Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times

*
Performs other duties as assigned

*
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in the course of caring for children and managing emergency situations

Skills, Education and Experience:
*
Has at least 1 year experience teaching in a childcare center. Administrative experience in a childcare center is preferred

*
Ability to communicate with and motivate others

*
Consistently follows through with all assignments

*
Excellent role model to other teachers

*
Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Publishing. Prefer experience in School Leader

Enjoys children and expresses genuine interest in them

*
Able to interact with students of all ages and development levels

*
Excellent organizational and communication skills

*
Strong effective, interpersonal skills.

*
CPR and First Aid Certification.

*
Highly professional and dependable

*
Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

Open to change - flexible and able to adapt. Able to multi task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast paced environment
