Our client, a Hedge Fund that currently manages approximately $6.5bn in long and long/short equity strategies. The firm has 45 employees, all located in New York City.

Executive Assistant (EA) to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Primary Responsibilities
The EA is a mature, professional, self-starter who is highly motivated, hard-working and capable of maintaining confidentiality of all corporate and personal matters. The EA must be a team player with the ability to maintain positive, constructive relationships with colleagues and external contacts.

Proactively manage calendar for CEO and family members, act as a "gatekeeper”, and prioritize both business and personal meetings to maximize the most appropriate use of time. Anticipate and resolve any potential scheduling conflicts.
Coordinate professional and business travel arrangements for CEO and family members. Provide detailed itineraries, compile necessary travel documentation and anticipate all travel needs.
Maintain and update professional and personal contacts in Outlook.
Effectively communicate with CEO's household staff regarding all family related matters; including daily schedules, travel plans, and other various needs.
Screen incoming calls, field questions and respond independently when possible. Exercise judgment and discretion to monitor all incoming/outgoing communications.
Ability to manage others while also serving as a team player.
Prepare expense reports and reconcile monthly credit card accounts in a timely and thorough manner.
Manage and prepare health insurance claims for CEO and family members.
Maintain efficient filing and organization of correspondence, reports, and meeting materials. Manage ad-hoc projects as requested.
Requirements
BA or BS degree
10+ years' Executive Assistant experience, ideally working for high-level senior executive Excellent verbal and written communication skills; poised demeanor

Salary
Competitive based upon experience plus bonus.
