Senior Software Tester
Commensurate with experience, scope of work and location

With limited direction, carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet system requirements.
Directs and/or participates in risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools usage.
Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Creates and/or reviews documentation relative to requirements, test cases/scripts, test execution and release management. Insures completeness, accuracy, and correctness.
Organizes and maintains quality assurance documentation including maintaining information within the assigned test management system.
Documents all problems and works to resolve them. Reports progress to management.
Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future processes.
Performs work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS:
Undergraduate Degree ; Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.
Master’s Degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience
Independently reviews business/technical requirements; writes and executes manual test cases
Experience in working multiple, complex work assignments, able to plan, guide and train others
Evaluates test results and recommends changes affecting short-term project growth and success
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
Experience with performance testing is desired
Experience with software testing projects in Government or Large Company Environments
Equivalent knowledge and expertise through on-the-job experience
Ability to pass security/credit check
SAP and/or CRM testing experience.
Experience testing ERP systems, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ALM, and SQL.
Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Will be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks.
Microsoft Office Products: Access, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project Visio, Word
Salesforce knowledge and/or experience is highly desired.
HP Application Life Cycle Management software
JIRA experience desired
Structured Query Language (SQL)
Relational Database Platforms (DB2, SQL2008, Oracle)
Simple Objective Access Protocol (SOAP)
JWebUnit, DBUnit, JIRA, Subversion, Eclipse, Nexus, AgileTestWare, SoapUI or other testing tools
Section 508 testing software
ESRI ArcGIS desktop applications
Middleware such as MQ Series
Data Warehouse testing including data migrations, ETL/Batch processes and data reports
