Sayres & Associates is seeking Social Scientists/Researchers to organize, direct and coordinate the planning and execution of customer research projects, including:

Developing research proposals.
Designing research efforts to address specific business needs.
Monitoring projects and reporting regularly on progress.
Developing research materials based on scientific best practices.
Supervising research execution.
Collaborating with statisticians to develop data analysis plans for research efforts.
Interpreting and summarizing research results.

The Social Scientist/Researcher will also be responsible for:
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on social science methodology and research practices: applies latest research methods and designs; offers guidance and recommendations on questions of research methodologies as needed.
Consulting with research owners and managing client relationships, including: defining research requirements in terms of business objectives; providing guidance to clients regarding appropriate research goals and setting reasonable expectations for results; creating and delivering presentations to clients regarding findings that are appropriate for a non-scientific audience.
This is a regular full-time position (1st Shift) with less than 10% travel and no relocation. Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and five to nine years' of work experience or equivalent experience.
Experience designing, executing or assisting with social science research in an organizational setting (government, industry, non-profit, etc.).
Possess working knowledge of statistics and/or data science.
Experience developing schedules for varying complexities of project and programs, and leading teams in executing these efforts.
TS/SCI or the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Experience in social science research field, psychology, sociology, communications, economics, anthropology, consumer sciences, market research, organizational behavior and management.
