We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a maximum 12-week paid internship in our Procurement -Supply Chain group in Northbrook, IL. As a key player on the team, the Procurement Intern- (Packaging -Supply Chain) will be exposed to several core competencies within the Purchasing Packaging job function.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting and setting up an RFP (Request for Proposal)
Developing a strategic category sourcing plan
Category-specific market analysis
Opportunity to learn an ERP System (SAP)
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Completed Junior year of college with a concentration in Either Supply Chain Management or Business Administration with Focus in Management or Finance.
Interest in Consumer Packaged Goods and Packaging
Great Attention to Detail
Quick problem solving
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
Good communication skills
Some understanding of procurement/supply chain
Intermediate level of Excel and PowerPoint
