The Johns Hopkins Hospital (Marburg 2) - As the primary unit for our foregut & colorectal surgery services, we provide specialized care and patient education for all things GI surgery related. Our small unit size allows us to work closely together in a multidisciplinary approach, relying on our unique skills to provide excellent service in a team-oriented environment. We work together to provide exceptional care to adult surgical patients.

Requirements:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- JHH provides Tuition Reimbursement towards earning your MSN.
- Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- At least two years of clinical Registered Nursing experience required.
- Acute Care RN work experience required.
Responsibilities:
- As a senior clinical nurse, serve as the unit technical resource in absence of a Level 4 career professional.
- Assists in developing staff schedules.
- Observes patients and ensures maximum nursing care is being provided; determines the need for additional or modified services.
- Ensures established unit priorities are implemented and makes some decisions regarding patient care.
- Participates in patient care conferences, quality assurance committees and in-service presentations.
