Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to implement behavior plans and provide support in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior management techniques as directed by the behavior analyst
- Assist in the collection of data on observable client behavior
- Collaborate with the treatment team to implement care plans
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized treatment plans
- Work with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Utilize medical terminology in documentation and communication
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Familiarity with behavioral health interventions
- Ability to follow medical documentation procedures accurately
- Understanding of care plans and their implementation
- Proficient in maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations
