Facebook is looking for a Global Strategy, Planning & Operations Analyst Lead. The SP&O team is chartered with identifying and driving strategic and operational improvements to help media partnerships leaders better run their businesses through planning, operations, and analysis. We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and process oriented individual who can partner effectively with key cross-functional stakeholders and deliver impactful data analysis and insights.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with numbers and will have a strong analytical and consultative mindset, experience in working with stakeholders, and a natural propensity for team work. This is a full-time position and is located in our Menlo Park office.
This position offers a candidate with prior sales operations, biz ops, consulting, investment banking, or data analysis experience an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of an exciting part of Facebook's overall business and take on an operating role within one of the fastest growing parts of our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build partnerships with Media Partnerships and cross-functional stakeholders to drive analysis and insights on business drivers
Conduct insightful analysis using internal and external data (e.g. revenue, product, market, industry) to derive insights that will drive business decisions
Provide decision making support thru scenario modeling and building driver based models
Provide analytical support across key planning processes for the Media Partnerships including tiering, goaling, forecasting and resource planning
Provide first rate analytical and data modeling support via Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
Create Tableau dashboards that provide visibility into KPIs, marketing effectiveness and business trends/drivers
Create recurring reporting for business lines demonstrating trends across KPIs and progress towards goals of teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)
5+ years of work experience in Sales Operations, Biz Ops, Investment Banking, Consulting or Data Analysis
Problem solving experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
Experience presenting recommendations and takeaways of technical data to varied audiences
Proven stakeholder management experience – including managing multiple partners simultaneously
Experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and experience seeing beyond numbers to drive sound decision-making
Intermediate to advance Excel modeling experience
Experience with forecasting metrics, building operational models, headcount modeling, and ROI analysis
Advanced SQL experience
Communication experience, including experience communicating with senior management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Experience extracting data from large/complex databases
Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools
