Under limited supervision, regularly leads a team of Packaging Specialists on alpha and/or Charlie lines and achieves standards. Completes required paperwork in the completion of work requirements.
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
Supports the production line by leading a team of employees in packing and separating product, assembling and building displays and boxes, using tapers to securing boxes, etc... in order to achieve standards. Certified to lead Alpha line and/or Charlie lines.
Leadership duties include assigning/scheduling employees and resolving line problems on own or escalating to leadership team.
Responsible for ensuring that all food quality and quality requirements are met by the team - including date codes.
Responsible for ensuring that training of new team members occurs effectively.
Monitors and tracks productivity/quality and looks for opportunities to maximize line effectiveness.
As needed, performs Packaging Specialist job duties.
Immediately reports any safety, food safety, maintenance, production, employee or quality problem to supervisor or member of management.
Tracks consumptions.
Follows all safety and GMP rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
