The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is hiring Cooks levels 1-3 starting at $14 an hour!!
Our Cook 1 is a culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related cooking experience and good communication skills. This is typically a production position that requires total supervision and training.
Our Cook 2 an intermediate line cook which requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training.
Our Cook 3 requires good communication skills as well as at least two year of previous line and fine dining experience. A Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, and broiling. This person may be require to give direction in the supervisor’s absence.
