Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities
· Knowledge and proper use of hand tools and power tools
· Ability to ID bolt sizes SAE/Metric
· Perform and report daily tasks and inspections
· Record and log events from fault log
· Assist in performing PMs by removing gearboxes, installing and removing bearings and motors
· Ability to grease motors, bearings, and conveyors
· Repair and maintain parts associated with bucket elevators, air slides, and augers
· Remove and install varying motors, motor couplings, and associated hardware
· Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics
· Repair and test diverting gates, knife gates, and butterfly valves
· Knowledge of high-pressure and low-pressure compressors
· Utilization and implementation of basic Industrial Electric skills
· Utilize CMMS daily to create and close work orders
· Ability and/or experience working above 10 ft.
· Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
· Utilize Forklifts and Manlifts
· Utilize Remote Hoists
· Coordinate with Operations for urgent repairs
· Interfacing with HMIs
· Cleaning and maintaining dust collectors, filters, work area and site
· Adhere to all SESCO and OSHA rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment on plant grounds
Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of maintenance or mechanical experience
- Must have at least 1 year of Industrial experience around varying belts, air slides, and bucket elevators
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working on augers, conveyor belts, screws pumps, flow control valves and compressors
- Must have at least 1 year of working on diverting gates, motors, knife gates, and butterfly valves
- Must be able to handle working outdoors
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in tight spaces
- Must be able to pass drug test, respirator fit test, and background check
- Must be able to work weekends and/or overtime with a flexible schedule
- Must have a GED or diploma
- Experience and/or ability to work 10ft and above
- Knowledge of the internal and functionality of dust collectors or bag houses
- Experience and/or ability to operate Forklifts and Manlifts
- Experience working in a team setting
- Ability to work individually on repairs
- Punctuality in rotating work schedule
- Industrial Cement Plant experience is a plus
- Any Industrial Plant experience is a plus
- General Labor experience is a plus
- Industrial Electrical experience is a plus
- Microsoft Excel and Word Proficiency is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
Salary Range
· $24-$27 hour
· Quarterly bonus maximum 30% of Quarterly yield (KPI based)
