As one of the enterprise teams within American Express, Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) works closely with colleagues across the entire company to drive growth and further differentiate Amex in a competitive marketplace by accelerating our digital products and services. The Enterprise Digital Experiences Team (EDX) is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital products – Amex Mobile App, americanexpress.com, Amex Offers and Customer Personalization.

How will you make an impact in this role?
The Help/Search team is looking for a dynamic Product development analyst to support the content strategy to lead the development and strategy for content in the logged-out experience, as well as Information Architecture (IA) to expand and enhance our website to makes it easily navigable and accessible.
In this role, you will own the creation and optimization of journeys that engage millions of users a day, driving some of our core metrics including engagement, satisfaction, brand awareness and operational efficiency. These journeys are integrated with intelligent platforms and content management systems and you will partner with teams to scale the global customer experience for the future. This role is essential in bridging the gap between content creation and user experience.
You will collaborate with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, Analytics, and Experimentation to communicate and iterate on a high visibility product roadmap. You will also work closely with and get the buy-in from stakeholders across the organization to ensure we are creating elegant and frictionless solutions for our users, while also driving business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own vision, the content strategy and roadmap by partnering closely with key stakeholders, partners and product teams

Ensure that content and IA are integrated seamlessly into the overall user experience

Collaborate with data / analytics /research/ SEO teams to ensure a data-driven approach

Drive consensus across a wide range of stakeholders from different business units located across different geographies and time zones

Collaborate to deliver key components and templates to enable engaging global experiences

Coordinate closely with Product Managers for logged-in experiences to develop and implement a cohesive user-focused strategy that optimizes technical investment and operational efficiency

Navigate white space to uncover opportunities that will drive measurable outcomes

Leverage data to determine trends and insights that impact success, report on key metrics, and optimize the product through experimentation

Actively monitor, track and report on feature launches and enhancements to continuously iterate and enhance user experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) – ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders, understand needs and influence them towards the right solution

Ability to feel comfortable in a changing environment – able to adapt / flex approach according to needs

Good awareness of SEO & UX principles, web standards and accessibility guidelines

Strong organisational skills – detail oriented and ability to juggle and drive results across multiple projects to deadlines

Fast learner, with ability to use own initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude towards problem solving and decision making.

Digitally savvy, able to keep up with our competitors and the industry

Ability to influence and apply data to make business decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Content Strategy and Information Architecture principles

Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM) and tools (Jira) preferred

Experience working with UXR and using Research findings to drive change
Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
