We are looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic U.S. Payroll team based in Austin, Texas. The U.S. Payroll team processes payroll for approximately 10,000 employees spread across multiple states. You will be detail oriented, have excellent written and oral communications skills, possess a desire to improve processes, be collaborative, as well as have a flexible and team oriented outlook.

You will handle the creation and revision of employment tax forms
Apply for payroll tax accounts as needed
Monitor payroll tax calculations and liabilities as well as revisions in the payroll tax and regulatory environment and communicating to internal stakeholders. Ability to recommend and then implement changes as needed
Handle the W-2 reporting and reconciliation process and preparing and running W-2 adjustments
You will address payroll processing issues and internal escalations
Document payroll processes/procedures with an ability to suggest industry standards while identifying opportunities for improvements
Partner with internal business leaders and external vendors to properly and timely record, report, and reconcile amounts related to relocation and mobile employees
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to record and report frequent business travelers
Analyze vendor invoices and reconcile against work performed and our contracted amounts
You will partner with the benefits team to properly report benefits and any changes to those motivated by policy change or changes in the regulatory environment
Ad-hoc analysis and reporting of payroll results as requested
Review ADP payroll results and changes
Craft and distribute ad hoc reports from the ADP Enterprise database
You will serve as the point of contact for internal and external auditors and SOX related inquiries and resolution
You will work closely with corporate accounting, tax, and FP&A to ensure accurate GL & taxes reporting
Fund benefits after payroll processing
You will perform/review payroll processing responsibilities as needed
Required Job Skills
5+ years of experience which should include proficient knowledge of ADP reports and processes as well as advanced knowledge of U.S. payroll tax issues and laws
Ability to improve and document processes, handle multiple tasks at once, and prioritize a large volume of issues
Proficient user of ADP’s Enterprise software and Microsoft tools
Knowledge of payroll accounting entries
You should be able to adapt to unexpected events, research, compile and develop clear, accurate reports and associated documentation to facilitate effective decision-making
Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
CPP certification with a bachelor’s degree in business related field or at least 7 years of equivalent work experience
