Job/Position Summary
The Project/Account Manager leads efforts for specific assigned customers using a “cradle to grave” approach, from quoting and Purchase Order receipt and validation, to production and delivery.
Position Specific Essential Functions:
- Responsible for quoting/estimating for assigned customers, to include: calculating internal and external labor resources for capability and availability, validating requirements, interpreting specifications, and obtaining material and process costs to provide profitable, yet competitive quote submissions. Follow‑up on non‑awarded quoted items also required.
- Responsible for Purchase Order management/acknowledgment, creation of Job Travelers, and to set up quotes, sales orders, jobs, and related information in M2M (ERP system).
- Manages Open Order Spreadsheets and/or requirements on customer portals and/or websites.
- Maintains current job and status information in M2M.
- Identifies resource needs and works with appropriate departments to ensure timely availability.
- Creates and executes a project time line for new orders; revises same as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; tracks jobs as they progress through production.
- Ensures costs are in line with quote and alerts Manager in the event of possible cost overruns.
- Attends Production and Backlog Meetings and effectively communicates relevant customer and job information to appropriate personnel.
- Effectively and efficiently communicates with and supports assigned customers, adapting to new customers as volume dictates.
- Resolves or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Follows up with customers regarding any issues, as well as production status.
- Follows up on delivered product to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provides assistance to other Project/Account Managers and departments as necessary or required.
- Responsible for mentoring and/or training personnel as assigned.
- Maintains open communication and works with other departments as required or necessary to ensure timely and accurate production and delivery of product.
- Assists Management with special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 2-5 years minimum experience in this position or a similar or related position in the manufacturing aerospace industry or a combination of education and related experience resulting in sufficient understanding and knowledge of the practices, procedures, capabilities, and requirements necessary to successfully perform in the position, but not less than two (2) years.
- Technical knowledge of machined parts; experience with modern machine shop manufacturing.
- Prior Quoting/Estimating experience preferred.
- Ability to learn, understand, and communicate industry specifications and standards.
- Blueprint reading skills and proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing preferred.
- Previous ERP/MRP experience; Made2Manage (M2M) experience a strong plus.
- Results driven, proactive, stress tolerant, works well under time constraints.
- Solid, dependable, hardworking with strong work ethic.
- Well-developed judgment, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills.

Work Environment
- This job/position generally operates in a professional office environment, but the Employee may also be required to spend time on the Production Floor. The noise level on the Production Floor can be loud.
- This is not a remote work position
Position Schedule & Travel
- Full-Time / 1st Shift
- Monday through Friday | 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week required minimum. When necessary, must be able to work overtime to meet operational deadlines.
- When required, travel is primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require out-of-area and/or overnight travel.
Standard Pay Range
- Competitive Wages Paid. Compensation is based on job knowledge and experience.
- PMP may give consideration to candidates with less than the required experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities set out in this posting.
- Future compensation increases are based on job knowledge, performance, competence, and skill, including soft skills.
