Brooks & Crowley LLP - Dedham, MA (30+ days ago)

We are a small law firm in Norfolk County specializing in residential real estate closings and a small number of high-value personal injury cases. We have an immediate opening for a paralegal who is experienced with residential real estate closings, but can also assist with personal injury cases as needed.

The successful candidate must be familiar with the current software platforms such as e-closing, have a strong work ethic and be highly organized. Ability to work independently and to prepare title commitments and closing packages, resolve title issues and meet deadlines is crucial. Contact with sellers, buyers and lenders and attorneys via telephone and email is a regular part of this position, so excellent communication skills are essential. Some experience with personal injury files (i.e., representation letters, PIP forms, compiling third-party records, and organizing demand packages) is a definite plus. More importantly, you must have the ability to prioritize ongoing tasks and track assigned tasks on your own while working with deadlines.

We have a very collegial working environment, and a sense of humor is mandatory. We have fun but get the work done, so you must be 100% reliable.

We will consider both full-time or part-time candidates for this position. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Please send resume and cover letter with salary requirements. All applications will be kept in strict confidence.
