This position is on-site in Cincinnati, OH or remote if out of state.
AGAR is seeking a passionate, multi-faceted, intuitive storyteller with 10+ years of experience in creating and implementing marketing strategies that focus on engaging consumers through immersive and memorable experiences. At the core, the Experiential Strategist will be an expert storyteller, drawing upon words, design, video, insights, trends, experiential production, staging and performance to help guide impactful experiential strategies from concept to completion to expansion. The candidate must have previous experience in marketing/PR and experiential agencies, event/live entertainment companies, or retail firms across multiple, diverse brands and Fortune 500 companies.
WHO WE NEED/
The Experiential Strategist will play a pivotal role in creating and executing campaigns that go beyond traditional marketing by immersing consumers in memorable and meaningful brand experiences. The Experiential Strategist must establish a deeper and more emotional connection between the consumer and the brand, ultimately leading to increased brand loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
With AGAR’s fast-paced business growing and ever changing, the Experiential Strategist must be a self-starter who thrives as part of a collaborative team, is able to prioritize multiple projects and nimbly and efficiently manages deadlines. The Experiential Strategist will report directly to the Executive Director of Strategy and Growth and will play an active role in building and deepening relationships by developing compelling presentations that outline and describe experiential concepts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Collaborate with leadership & BD teams on new business pitches & RFPs, concepting strategic experiential plans rooted in human insight, achieve core client KPIs, integrate technology, and build memories and loyalty.
● Gather information from clients and other stakeholders needed to properly concept the opportunity. Information to include business goals and key performance indicators as well as brand values, objectives, and characteristics of its target audience.
● Lead internal kick off and regroup meetings, working with various department leads to ensure resources are leveraged to deliver a well-organized, comprehensive presentation/proposal against internal and external deadlines.
● Ensure a cohesive and integrated approach by collaborating with various departments to research and validate concepts then develop project management plans, budgets, and timelines for the experience.
● Strategically outline, research, write, and source content (i.e. mood boards, floor plans, décor) for presentation decks based on client brief.
● Confidently present concepts and proposals in person and virtually with clients and prospects.
● Throughout the project, ensure successful transitions among various departments to set projects up for success. Continue to oversee the planning and execution of projects at a high level, receiving periodic updates and pivoting strategies based on real-time feedback and evolving market conditions.
● Monitor and measure the success of the campaign (against set key performance incidacotrs), collecting metrics and developing case studies both internally and externally.
● Assist Account Teams and other client leads with developing organic new business opportunities.
● Participate in internal marketing initiatives such as thought leadership pieces, speaking opportunities and social media posts.
● Assist in training and developing other team members to enhance Company’s core written and verbal communication skills
● Represent AGAR’s vision, mission, guiding principles, and core values.
● Embody AGAR’s quick and nimble way of executing work and knowing when there is a sense of urgency to meet client and project needs
● Stay current with culture, industry trends, and changing business processes
● Participate in and contribute to weekly internal meetings, processes, and company events.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE/
● BS/BA in marketing, communications, business, or related field plus 10+ years relevant experience
● Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
● Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
● Experience in visual and verbal storytelling bringing a strong creative presence and voice to projects and presentations.
● Self-disciplined and accountable and can work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
● Quick yet intentional critical thinking/decision-making skills
● Produce excellent work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Possess strong computer skills (Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Proficiency in Mac & Adobe programs a plus.
