The three locations allow us to provide product for the automotive, heavy truck, furniture, RV, health care and consumer products industries. Our company is focused on the production of low-cost, high-quality injection-molded, insert molded and assembled components.

Job Summary

Leads a production team to continuously improve quality, cost, and delivery through continual training, coaching, and implementation of continuous improvement activities. Ensures excellence in daily execution so that customer expectations are met. Engages in problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in leading people in a production environment (2 years plus)
  • Experience working in plastic injection molding
  • Commitment to a participatory leadership style
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • College degree a plus
  • A desire to invest in the growth and success of people

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Grow and develop team members

  • Promote KAM values in a production team (Partnership, Service, Integrity).
  • Develop cooperative, positive, and productive relationships among team members.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews

Ensure daily execution of production and standard work

  • Uphold safety standards
  • Assign work and attain production schedules
  • Ensure customers receive quality product on time
  • React appropriately to performance metrics and visual cues
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards.

Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement

  • Assist with solving customer quality issues
  • Solve problems and improve key metrics
