Lead, 6C, Certified Industrial & Anaerobic Wastewater Operator will be tasked with leading the team, operate and maintain Wastewater treatment plant in accordance to relevant regulations and guidelines; oversee and perform repairs and conduct preventative maintenance for equipment; collect samples and conducts laboratory tests; keeps appropriate records and files.
Job Related Duties and Key Functions

Responsible to lead Team; provide guidance and oversight, identify and address development opportunities and conduct and oversee maintenance and repairs.

Maintain Wastewater treatment plant in accordance with relevant regulations

Manage wastewater operations in an environmentally responsible manner

Resolve minor equipment technical issues

Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with all GMP standards.

Maintain accurate records and logs

Conduct wastewater sampling and analyses

Generate work orders
-
Operate lift truck, electric pallet jack as needed.

Complete and maintain accurate documentation/logs of activities during shift.

Keep work area clean at all times.
Education and Additional Requirements

General Education
-
Minimum MA Wastewater 6C License
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions given in English.

Ability to work flexible, varying 12-hour shifts and Overtime.
Environment and Working Conditions
-
Work involves exposure to temperature extremes, indoor/outdoor transition, heights, high noise levels, and wetness, dust, moving equipment, vibrations and vapors.
Equipment Used
-
Common laboratory equipment, personal computer, forklift, hoist, hand cart, hand tools, measuring instruments, equipment operations manuals, and MSDS sheets.

Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and hearing protection.
