Performing support duties to the Director of Sales and Marketing as well as the Sales team in managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are (i.e., room nights, ADR, REVPAR, room rental, etc.) achieved or exceeded. Assist in the development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable operation for the hotel.

As well as possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Essential Functions include:
Administrative tasks: Maintains all sales account files, correspondence, typing, filing, answering phones, taking messages.
Performs special requests of the Sales Manager such as travel arrangements (flight and room), researches special interest, etc.
Assist Sales Manager in all phases of the development and solicitation of business
Organize and/or attend scheduled Sales Department and related meetings. Coordinates meeting set-ups and performs minute taking, transcribing and distribution to corporate and in-house of the following
Handle all “In House Meetings” Responsible for booking, detailing and communicating to all departments regarding the meeting.

Education and Qualifications
Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
Knowledge and/or experience in Delphi
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing.
Hotel sale experience is preferred, but not required.
Other: Note: The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift as business demands.
