Our Auburn, Washington branch is looking for a responsible and qualified individual to join our Power Generation team as a Sales Representative. As the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the specification and sale of power generation solutions which include generators, switchgear and associated technology throughout the territory. This position is responsible for identifying, developing and managing the relationship with key decision makers throughout the development, purchasing and delivery process. A successful candidate will provide technical expertise along with the ability to assess the business needs of our customers to provide the best system solution.

What you will do:
Responsible for direct sales of products and services provided by Pacific Power Group to end users, contractors and customers that also include key Influencers, through specification preparedness, competitive awareness and technical relationship.
Responsible for professional skills development by maintaining a high degree of product and industry knowledge through factory programs, product updates, technical information, Industry Associations/Agencies, codes, applicable Federal, State and Local laws/codes.
Maintain a high degree of ownership with customers and ongoing projects.
Maintain comprehensive digital files on current and future projects with project history. Maintain digital call reporting and customer contact lists with the ability to demonstrate time and territory management.
Provide pre-sale technical assistance when reviewing project requirements. Prepare quotes based on technical specifications, present to customer and negotiate the terms of the sale.
Develop new and manage existing account relationships that will result in lasting sales, service and/or rental growth.
Meet sales objectives and targets.
Create timeline schedules and final revised detailed quotations once internal and external negotiations are completed.
Utilize Pacific Power Group sales tools and processes.
Formulate call plans and conduct sales calls per plan to aid in the negotiation of the sale.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to manage appointments, customer interactions and account details.
Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment offered by the dealership.
Monitor competitive activity and products.
Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new equipment.
Attend sales training, sales meetings, events and seminars.
Responsible for reviewing specifications, developing proposals and estimates are essential functions of the position.

What we need from you:
A Bachelor's degree in business or relative subject (preferred).
3-5 years of a proven sales experience in the Power Generation or Electrical Distribution industry.
3-5 years’ experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
Understand the concepts of electricity and power with the ability to decipher electrical and mechanical drawings. Must be able to read schematics.
Must demonstrate the mechanical aptitude, organization, computer skills, and self-discipline.
Be an articulate and effective communicator, both verbal and written, to be successful working with people who are highly skilled in this industry.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational, time management and negotiating skills is essential.
Must have a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and power generation systems.
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to identify and exceed customer expectations while managing a high volume of workload in a dynamic fast paced environment.
A Valid Driver's license and be insurable.
