The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy and prioritization of a product or product line, and maintains the Product Roadmap. This market-driven individual defines product needs based on existing ideas and develops innovative product vision based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. The Product Manager determines the direction of the product line by promoting strategic initiatives and maintains the existing product by prioritizing all product maintenance and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers, non-customers, and industry conferences
Identify market opportunities while defining product vision and strategy via the product Roadmap
Perform Win/Loss Analysis
Create and maintain User Personas
Create business plans and positioning documents for products and prospective products
Write Market Requirements and User Scenarios to be translated by the technical team for specification
Process all incoming product requests and determine which should be completed
Conduct prioritization and task-sizing meetings with necessary stakeholders
Prioritize all product maintenance, compliance, and feature projects
Work with stakeholders to understand project priorities in order to best utilize resources for the most imminent needs
Provide development queue prioritization
Be available to stakeholders and address product inquiries and urgent product requests

Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Applications
Stellar interpersonal/communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Product Manager Certification
Pragmatic Marketing course completion
Two years of experience in a role that features client interaction
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree
