Assist the MSCR Aquatics Specialist in supporting, coordinating and supervising four program sites. Assist in maintaining registration information, training logs, and staff evaluations. Assist teaching as necessary. Includes office work, data prep and customer service.
Estimated start date: Sept. 4, 2018-flexible
Estimated end date: ongoing
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 4-8:30pm. Saturdays 8:30-noon. Sundays 2:30-6pm
Total hours of work per week: Up to 18.5 hours per week
Required knowledge, skills & abilities: Sound physical and mental health. Must have experience leading
staff of swim instructors and lifeguards. Past supervisory experience required and a solid knowledge of
the American Red Cross learn to swim program. Must be organized. Excellent communication skills and
public relations. Must have reliable transportation as this position requires traveling between program
sites. The ability to work cooperatively with the public and employees promoting good public relations and providing
safe, efficient aquatics operations.
Minimum qualifications: Lifeguard training and WSI certification
Desired qualifications: LGI
