Experience Delivery – Virtual Event Marketing Specialist

If you are a strategic marketer with a passion for planning, producing and executing client-focused experiences such as webcasts or other events, we want to talk to you. Deloitte Services LP is currently searching for a Virtual Event Marketing Specialist who will join our in-house marketing agency and support client-facing world-class marketing events that differentiate our firm. This individual will primarily be responsible for providing strategy, planning, and project management for webcasts that promote our industry practices and business areas.

Work you’ll do

  • Provide strategic and creative marketing consultation to a variety of internal clients
  • Bring a strong project management mindset, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, identify dependencies, and coordinate across stakeholders, in accordance with established milestones
  • Manage end-to-end logistics for assigned webcasts, including editorial review, planning, prepping the presenting team, coordinating deliverables, managing due dates, securing CPE, editing, and sending out communications
  • Communicate frequently with various levels within the firm, including partners and industry leaders, marketing colleagues, creative, and risk
  • Ensure each webcast provides a high quality, branded, and consistent user experience
  • Execute innovative virtual events that promote the firm, build and enhance brand eminence, generate leads, and develop relationships
  • Provide guidance on Deloitte’s policies and procedures around marketing and communications for virtual events
  • Liaise on digital presence, social promotion, and public relations to support each webcast
  • Provide follow up reporting related to ROI around the event
Qualifications

Required:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, webcast presentation development, event planning, or marketing
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
Solid project management and communication skills
Solid teaming skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Adept at problem-solving, including during live sessions
Work with a virtual team inside and outside the US
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work and achieve results — with minimal supervision — in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environment
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability

Preferred:
Event planning skills and experience
Marketing skills and experience
Strong customer-service approach
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to create deliverables presentable to firm leadership
Experience in professional services and/or a matrix organization, a plus
Agency experience (Advertising, PR, Marketing or Event) a plus
