Position Summary:
The main role of the Loan Funding Specialist is two pronged; they notify clients of their loan approval and work to close the loan. They are also the main support system for our clients and our staff. They do this by maintaining a busy schedule consisting of meeting with clients, placing and receiving phone calls, emailing customers, staff and loan officers to coordinate loan disbursements. This role verifies and enters financial data to prepare loan packages consisting of contracts, titles, documents and checks that need signed and archived in a neat and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly and accurately close client loans.
  • Communicate professionally with borrowers, vendors and loan officers to ensure high quality communication and efficiency.
  • Receiving and resolving customer questions, including but not limited to calls and emails from staff, field loan officers and clients.
  • Maintain an understanding of our operational policies, including customer service protocol, loan closings, payment process and servicing loans.
  • Understanding of basic office practices such as filing, scanning, emailing and preparing correspondence.
  • Deals with confidential and sensitive issues with a high level of professionalism.
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial related customer service.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft CRM, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with numbers, banking experience or understanding of

financial systems is preferred.

  • Mature minded with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
