This position is part of the Sports Medicine division. The Sports Medicine Joint Repair franchise offers surgeons a broad array of instruments, technologies, and implants necessary to perform minimally invasive surgery of the joints, including the repair of soft tissue injuries and degenerative conditions of the knee, hip, and shoulder.

The applicant will create and modify software to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our testing processes. The Co-op needs take an active role in the development, improvement, and documentation of software.


Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering similar major
Experience creating and working with C++ programming, Assembly, microcontroller firmware
Understanding of circuit design
Experience documenting requirements and implementing software solutions to meet those requirements
Good communication skills. Ability to work well independently and in team
Good organization skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage one’s own schedule

Create automated test stands for testing applications
Troubleshoot problems associated with current controller design
