Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an extraordinary Communications Professional to spearhead a client advocacy program that will increase brand relevance for IBM Services both internally and externally. The right candidate will be responsible for strategizing, planning and executing client storytelling with a focus on driving distinction and differentiation for the IBM Services portfolio.
We are looking for someone with a natural curiosity who can build connections inside and outside the organization to unearth the client success stories of IBM Services. You will be a strong writer, editor and researcher comfortable developing content for traditional channels, as well as creative mediums, to spotlight our agile and transformative approaches to client work.
Drive strategy and execution for IBM Services client advocacy program
Serve as a liaison IBM Communications team liaison to clients and account teams
Oversee the development of a monthly communication for senior IBM Services leadership by identifying, interviewing and writing client news stories
Develop a cadence and pipeline of IBM Services client stories for internal and external storytelling
Manage projects by developing work plans, obtaining approvals, tracking resource requirements, and communicating with stakeholders
Oversee deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously
Portray how IBM Services is delivering the greatest value to clients
Elevate client stories to support ongoing thought leadership activities
Collaborate across teams to develop creative concepts for assets
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of 7 years of experience in media relations, PR or similar communications roles.
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships within an organization.
Success driving communications programs in a hybrid role for both internal and external communications.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Rapidly absorb a wide range of complex business issues.
Ability to synthesize complex technologies, products, and market challenges.
Experience with video production a plus.
Knowledge of coding.
