The Managing Partner is primarily responsible for the leadership, management and strategic growth of the French Capital Management, LLC

The Managing Partner leads an integrated team of, investors, advisors and staff who are responsible for advising clients on managing and growing their wealth, across solutions that include investments, insurance, banking, trust services and credit. This role is primarily responsible for management and the strategic growth of the business overall but also is accountable for the client experience and engaging our resources to deliver a complete investment solution to our clients. You will be expanding the business to compete in the pension consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and growth of the team and market opportunities
  • Overall responsibility for leading and developing a team of Bankers, Investors, Lending Advisors, Wealth Advisors, and Trust & Estate Advisors
  • Ensure an effective approach to hiring, retaining and rewarding the best talent, performance management, talent management, training and integration of new joiners within the market
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure the team is working together to provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients
  • Manage the team and day-to-day operations to ensure systematic, forward thinking and disciplined approach to advising clients, sales management, client acquisition, and risk management
  • In addition to day to day management of the business, this role should also grow the team’s book of business and will be responsible for prospecting and developing leads for new clients
  • Build trust and develop relationships with clients to help the team advise particularly large or complex relationships
  • Responsibility for budget planning
  • As a member of the Regional leadership team, provide leadership, execute on Wealth Management priorities and participate in defining the long-term strategy for the regional Private Bank business
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external partners to promote visibility and impact in the market
  • Fifteen plus years of experience in Public Pensions, Private Banking or Financial Services industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience in effective hiring, developing, motivating and retaining large, high performing teams. Individual needs to be an inspirational leader with high “EQ” who can provide vision, presence, and credibility to the market
  • Track record of successfully building and growing a business within Wealth Management preferred
  • Ability to drive change and implement disciplined management practices
  • Ability to influence and problem solve to address any implementation challenges
  • Significant experience of managing budgets and compensation planning
  • Impeccable interpersonal and organizational skills with high level of self-motivation and drive to succeed
  • Proven sales and client relationship skills
  • Strong relationship management, partnership and team building skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and communicate the strategic vision to all levels
  • Demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Strong risk and control mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA, CFP or CFA preferred
  • Series 7, 63, 65, 66, 24, 9, & 10 licenses required for position; however, unlicensed candidates will be considered but required to obtain licenses within 120 days of start date

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Commission

Salary: $150,000.00 to $190,000.00 /year
