The Material Handler is responsible for routine warehouse product organization and material handling in regards to product, shipping, receiving and delivery duties.
Unload finished goods from containers and pick orders while maintaining an organized yard and warehouse. As well as supports the warehouse areas by shipping/receiving products, loading and unloading product as well as operates a company truck as a backup driver who delivers product to our customers. Assists in other areas of the warehouse and division as needed.

Job requires walking 50% of the time.

1st shift (hours TBD). Mandatory overtime to complete daily work if necessary. Possible weekend work needed.

Experience with scanners, forklifts, working in teams and following safety protocol.

Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive daily orders pick list, pull order and load quartz slabs on truck for delivery.

Unload/load containers in a timely and safe manner.

Operate forklift as needed.

Assist customers in a friendly manner.

Maintain and organize warehouse/yard.

Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures.

Assist with product order filling as needed.

Follow all safety rules.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Must have a clear driving record.

+1 years similar warehouse experience.

Technical training or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years of relevant work experience).

Excellent multi-tasking, organization and documentation skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Basic computer skills.

Demonstrated competency in the use of hand tools and other industry related equipment.

Demonstrated ability to read drawings and work to written procedures.

Must be able to operate a forklift. Forklift certification preferred.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may require extended work hours.

This position may require work in hot and cold temperatures, warehouse environment, and working in close to proximity to other teammates.
