Requirements:
Some professional experience or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
Skilled in MS Word, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and V-Ray
Ability to create schematic design, floor plan layouts and architectural renderings
Experienced in creating hand sketches and translating to 3D models
Ability to assist in field verification including field measurements and record documentation

Job Summary
Supports the Architecture and Design Team in the design, selection, coordination and detailing of architectural materials and systems.
Essential Functions

Create schematic design, floor plan layouts and architectural renderings
Assist in the preparation of preliminary architectural reports, schematic design, design development, and contract document submittals including coordination of architectural drawings and specs with all engineering disciplines involved on projects
Assist in field verification including field measurements and record documentation
Proficiently use and operate all necessary tools, equipment and software, including but not limited to MS Word, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and V-Ray to create 2D and 3D drawing and modeling, and generate digital or on-board renderings and presentations
Create hand sketches and translate loose sketches into 3D models
Maintain availability to work a variety of days and shifts including weekends as needed
Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and produce construction documents, and assist with construction administration in all phases including but not limited to project’s bidding/award phase, communication with contractors, and review of submittals
Assist with permitting and other regulatory agency activities
Participate in design charrettes
Monitor progress on projects relative to budgets
Participate as needed in business development activities including but not limited to preparation of presentation design/drawings and interviews with LEYE partners
Perform preliminary building code reviews for projects during schematic design
Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and office equipment
Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
Get along well with others and be a team player
Other duties will be assigned as needed
