CCTV Technician:
Systems Technologies, Inc. is looking for a hardworking dedicated individual who has expertise in CCTV and cabling who is or willing to become a Qualifying Agent. Great customer service is a must and experience with the installation of Security Cameras, Voice, Data and Fiber cabling Cat 5, Cat 6, coaxial cables, racks, cabinets, and cabling infrastructure etc. Responsible for various other wiring disciplines. The position includes the testing and troubleshooting of wiring and security camera problems and assisting other operations departments with project and maintenance requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineers, builds, designs, installs, programs, trains customer on several Security Camera Brands Knowledgeable in structured cabling and other advanced technologies; Ability to read, understand and measure from floor plans; Ability to estimate materials required for the various cabling projects; Installs and terminates voice and data cabling including multi-connect telephone twisted pair and other voice grade cabling systems. Installs and terminates data communication cabling including fiber optics and unshielded twisted pair. Tests and troubleshoots problems with camera systems. Attends plan review meetings to review structured cabling requirements for construction projects. Responsible for working with Facilities Planning and Safety and Environmental departments on all jobs. Assists in the development of specifications for structured cabling systems. Responsible for the upkeep of assigned vehicle. Responsible for the design layouts needed for permitting required Code. Maintains record of time and material used on a job. Prepares reports related to job duties.
Educational Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three (3) years’ experience in data and security equipment and installation.
Data Cabling Lead technician: Works within the constraints of time, materials, etc. Performs related duties as required.
Salary Based On Experience KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Should have the ability to perform diagnostic trouble shooting and analysis. Should have the ability to operate a computer. BICSI Certified - preferred. Should also have the knowledge of terminating structured cabling systems according to the TIA/EIA 568 & 569 standard and knowledge of building codes. Should have the ability to climb ladders and lift equipment as well as knowledge of the equipment and tools used in structured cabling basic plan reading and basic math and reading comprehension. Should be able to have a great relationship with team-members and clients. We install Structured Cabling, WIFI, Access Control and CCTV systems in the Memphis Metropolitan Area primarily in the enterprise space, commercial, retrofit and new build environments.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
