Summary: Growing and dynamic healthcare staffing technology company with 30% YOY growth for past four years, is looking for an experienced recruiter who has specifically recruited Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, in addition to clinical psychologists, audiologists, nutritionists and other healthcare professionals. You MUST have this specific experience. You must be able to “close deals”… this means being able to recruit the therapists and healthcare professionals and then match them optimally with the healthcare facilities or schools or hospitals with staffing needs. There is no cap to your earnings here. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for managing relationships with clients, filling their open block shifts, recruiting qualified therapist personnel, building your client billings by filling more block shifts for more clients and managing your own client relationships. We are in a first-class, recently renovated, state-of-the-art building in downtown Newark, right near the Broad St. train station. We are a fun, high energy, extremely productive team where everyone helps everyone else.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will be a true people person with strong organizational and computer skills. You’re a team player. You must be fluent working in Gmail, Word, Excel, and very comfortable learning our own internal proprietary staffing software solution. An aptitude for using technology to be more productive is essential for this position.

You will have a base salary, but your earning potential is unlimited. Each block shift that you staff at our client facilities will earn you additional commissions.

Attention to detail is a must. Scheduling therapists and healthcare professionals and filling open block shifts at hospitals, schools and development centers requires knowledge, great attention to detail and the ability to follow through and ensure the shifts are filled by qualified therapists.

Must be self-motivated and able to solve problems independently. Yes, you will have sufficient training and an exceptional team to help you every step of the way. But you need to be able to learn quickly and work efficiently.

Must be equally comfortable speaking with high-level and low-level therapy personnel, and senior staffing coordinators at our client facilities.

Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You need to be able to correspond in writing and in email with clear, concise, grammatically correct English.

Must have an interest in using social media and other online formats to recruit qualified therapy personnel. We’ll help train you, but you should be very comfortable working online.

While you will have normal business hours in the office, you should be able and willing to deal with staffing issues that arise after hours on your cell phone or laptop, on a limited and reasonable basis. Remember… in this position, the more block shifts you fill, the more money you make. So you are incentivized to fill shift openings whenever they arise.

Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to prioritize and multi-task without getting flustered. Good organizational skills and high ethical standards are expected.

Must have the ability to work independently, handle pressure, multi-task and prioritize. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

BS/BA degree and/or relevant administrative experience a plus.
