Position Summary
This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials into the warehouse. They sample materials as required and store materials in the proper location after they are released for use. Incumbent supplies materials to the blending and filling teams including loading the hotbox. They assist counting inventories as directed by purchasing, production control, or inventory teams. Incumbent is responsible for following all safety and quality regulations related to the position.
Essential Job Functions

Unload trucks and receiving additives, packaging materials, and non-production supplies.
- Sample additives and inspect packaging materials per quality procedures. Maintenance of inspection status of goods during storage in the warehouse.
- Distribute loads to blending hotboxes and deliver other required materials to the blending and filling teams.
- Perform physical inventory counts as needed.

Knowledge of basic SAP functionality.
- Knowledge of Monday.com, Material Stock Analysis, & other various reporting functions as it relates to Receiving/Warehouse/Inventory.

Operate electric fork truck. Must be able to handle palletized materials and drums with drum clamp attachment.

Operate yard dog truck. Must be able to hook up and back in containers and trailers and move around the work area.
- Maintain housekeeping in the warehouse areas.
- Assist other manufacturing teams as needed.

Stop production due to safety and/or quality concerns.

Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment defects/malfunctions, safety issues/concerns, and quality concerns immediately to management.
Minimum Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
2+ years in a manufacturing environment desired.
1-year forklift experience. Previous experience operating a yard dog truck is helpful.

Working Conditions
This position generally works in an inside environment that is not temperature-controlled. Must be able to climb and bend on a regular basis. This position will work in high places. It is often exposed to loud sounds and moving machinery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, talk, bend, stoop, talk or hear; use hands to fingers, wrist/arms, type, handle, feel or operate objects; reach with hands and arms; and work in an area that is not considered small and or confined. This position requires the use of safety attire and protective gear.
