Leads overall Store Operations

Interprets, directs and leads store merchandising and presentation directives and standards are met
Directs merchandise presentation and store visual workload
Responsible for staffing, scheduling, and maintaining Associate availability to ensure schedules match workload
Oversees all price changes, call backs, and inventory initiatives are executed to Company directive
Accountable for freight/receiving best practice execution
Supervises Associates to drive productivity through best practices
Ensures all building safety requirements are adhered to
Communicates repair/maintenance needs in a timely manner
Leads team in delivery of Customer Satisfaction

Communicates operational and sales strategy to Store Associates
Leads/directs Associates in the standard for Customer issue resolution
Oversees POS functions
Ensures total store cleanliness and recovery standards are met
Uses Business Acumen to drive results

Manages store payroll projections, productivity, and controllable expenses in relation to sales trends
Reviews business summary reports for sales opportunities and report inventory needs or opportunities to Supervisor
Leads Loss Prevention initiatives and inventory control programs
Ensures Store pricing guidelines are maintained in accordance with Company / legal guidelines
Develops High Performing Associates and Team

Manages the interview and hiring process to maintain proper staffing levels
Maintains Associate fi les and documentation in accordance with Company policy / legal requirements
Coaches and counsels Associates when necessary
Manages delivery of hourly training programs
Leads Associate recognition programs
Management of associates

Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices
Prepares and analyze unit plans and reports
Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area
Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications
Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans

Proven ASM who is results-oriented, builds teams and partnerships, and capable of breaking down complex processes so that others can understand and execute
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail or related field preferred
Special Requirements

Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional frequent basis Greater than 50 pounds = 1 Associate per 50 pounds
