Everest Formulations is a turnkey dietary supplement manufacturing company. The Receiving Coordinator is to verify and process incoming shipments according to department procedures, ensure accuracy in our receiving process, and organize all receiving materials ensuring its quantity and location matches our system.
Essential Job Duties
Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate the receiving of the incoming materials according to our procedure.
- Verify that the quantity, description, and lot numbers of items to be received match what is indicated on the shipper’s packing list, Everest’s order, and BOL (when available).
- Perform visual inspection of items being received and verify that they are in good condition.
- Enter quantities inspected into ERP system based on verification of items.
- Properly tag all incoming products and materials and move them to its proper storage location.
- Report any damages, defect, and/or discrepancies that does not comply with GMP standard to supervisor, quality team, PC, and/or Supply Chain Supervisor.
- Understanding of our warehouse as food environment to ensure receiving process is followed that prevents cross contamination.
General Duties
- Take out trash in the warehouse area and maintain cleanliness and order in the vicinity of the shipping/receiving/inventory area.
- Exhibit courtesy, patience, and technical competency when working directly with customers.
- Maintain professionalism and good working relationship with fellow co-workers.
- Provide technical training and guidance to other employees when necessary.
- Follow and comply with company safety policy and procedures.
- Assist others in tasks within department.
- Under certain situations management may require lending assistance to other departments within the company and it would be your responsibility to comply.
- Make continuous improvement in the execution of all tasks described above.
Selection Guidelines
The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate; and
- One (1) or more years of work experience on a stand up forklift in related job function; or
- Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successful perform the job.
