1st American is currently seeking a Senior DDI Network Engineer/Architect to join our team in Suitland, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US). The ideal candidate would be able to architect DDI infrastructure, plan deployments and migrations. Stage, configure, install, document, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure • This includes the ability to work closely and effectively with customers, partners, manufacturers, vendors, and fellow team members to provide exceptional customer service.
To be successful in this role, the Senior DDI Network Engineer must be a team player as well as an individual contributor. Whether working independently or as part of a team, individuals in this role must be able to successfully complete deliverables and meet or exceed expectations within designated time-frames. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation of technical skills.
Key responsibilities include supporting and maintaining and configuring DDI systems to meet client needs for DNS, DHCP and IP address management.
Architect, support, and scope DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions at scale, in an enterprise organization
Conduct in depth technical DDI research, assessments and performance analysis to support and design technical automated DDI strategies
Develop strategy and deployment plans for extending DDI services to additional tools/products
Deliver high level and low level design of DNS, DHCP, and Time Services
Drive delivery of DDI solutions, including project and implementation support
Provide DDI consulting services to peer Engineering, Operations, and Systems teams
Provide Level 3 / 4 DDI escalation support for Network Operations
Work with external vendors to manage network capacity within the infrastructure. Proactively work with internal partners to determine growth requirements and ensure proper capacity is seeded to meet that demand.
5+ years’ experience managing BIND, DHCP, DNSSEC, and IPAM solutions in an enterprise environment
3+ years’ experience managing Infoblox in an enterprise environment
5+ years of experience supporting and maintaining applications on RedHat Enterprise Linux Servers.
Knowledge of PKIs and related technologies (LDAP directories, HSMs, OCSP) and security practices.
Strong understanding of Cryptography, Cryptographic functions and cryptographic standards
5+ years’ experience managing an enterprise PKI infrastructure and related HW/SW technologies, to include Microsoft CA infrastructure and OpenSSL.
Understanding and hands on Experience integrating and managing HSM solutions in federal environments, to include SafeNet HSM appliances (formerly Luna)
Experience implementing, evaluating, and developing cryptographic solutions.
3+ years’ experience with KMS solutions, both within the datacenter and in cloud environments, to include AWS GovCloud.
3+ years’ experience with web technologies as it relates to Certificates
Public Trust Clearance (or ability to attain it)
