Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a System Engineer 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Los Angeles, CA.
The selected candidate will develop and implement data processing and visualization products supporting various Aerospace systems programs.
Support multiple business areas and programs by developing visibility reports and tools
Analyze/Interpret data and convert to meaningful information for the business
Explore/Develop new technologies or approaches to data analysis and interpretation
Create ad hoc reports based on unique business needs
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in an open working environment and be able to collaborate closely with software engineers, data engineers, and data scientist.
2 years of financial reporting and analysis experience
Experience writing and managing queries in SQL and Oracle databases
Experience writing and running SSIS packages and/or stored procedures using Visual Studio
Experience with visual software: Tableau, Excel, or other
Proficient in the use of MS office suite
The ability to obtain program access
Experience with version control tools like Git
