Description of Duties/Essential Functions

Under general supervision, serves as receptionist for local office; Performs a variety of difficult and responsible clerical functions and assistance including filing, typing, record processing, secretarial and general office support functions.

Minimum Requirements

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and one year of office related experience. Requires working knowledge of alpha-numeric sequencing; working knowledge of office procedures, practices, and ability to operate commonly used office equipment. Requires ability to type at 35 wpm.

TO OBTAIN A PROMOTIONAL GRADE FOR THIS TITLE AND OPTION, EMPLOYEES MUST SUBMIT A CMS100B TO THE CONTACT AGENCY AND ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE SKILLS TEST AT CMS BY THE POSTING CLOSING DATE. YOU MUST TAKE A COPY OF YOUR CMS-100B WITH POSTING ID #.
