Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations, such as pulmonary function tests and sleep studies
- Provide patient education on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and assessments
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on respiratory care
- Attention to detail for accurate recording of vital signs and patient information
